Windsor Castle is a magnificent place and a visit will reward those who tour its expanse a chance to view some of the beautiful treasures contained within. On the grounds of Windsor Castle is St. George’s Chapel, a historic and beautiful religious college which was built over a fifty year period beginning in 1475 by Edward IV. Situated on the River Thames, Windsor is also a lovely place for an afternoon stroll. Many a classic piece of literature has been inspired by this picturesque area. A true gem in Windsor is Savill Garden, a tranquil and lovely place to meander and relax, with 35 acres of meticulously tended flower beds and lush manicured lawns making it a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Savill Garden is located within the Windsor Great Park.
A favourite for the entire family, Legoland Windsor is the place to let the child in all of us come out and play. Spanning 150 acres, Legoland is a colourful world of fun and adventure with rides, workshops and fun for the entire family.
