Is Bodybuilding Right For You?
Thinking of giving bodybuilding a try? You have to first find out if it’s right for you then find a bodybuilding training program to follow. You don’t want to start, and give up right away because you find out it’s not right for you. First you have to figure out what motivated you to start bodybuilding in the first place. Do you want to be a champion? Do you want to get in shape? Trying to impress someone? Once you figure that out you have to consider the sacrifices that will be needed. I’m going to tell you what it takes, and you can decide if this is right for you
Proper Nutrition
Bodybuilding involves a lot of proper nutrition. Lots of lean meats such as chicken breast, turkey breast, extra lean ground beef, and egg whites. You will be eating a lot of carbs such as brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potato, and red potatoes. The mistake many people make is they go off their diet and eat too much junk food. Cravings are really tough conquer so you have to have good self discipline.
Lots of Weight Training
Of course there will be weight training if you want to gain muscle. You can’t gain muscle from nutrition alone. Not only will you need to train with weights, you will have to push yourself through pain barriers. You also have to workout when you really don’t feel like working out. You can’t just say “I’ll go tomorrow”. You have to be the person that goes to the gym no matter what.
The main point is to build a lot of self discipline. You have to really have a love for the sport or you will have a hard time being successful. There will be times that you just want to give up, but you have to push yourself through it and recognize the end result will be worth it.
What places are good to apply at when I become 18?
I’m turning 18 soon and I’m running out of ideas for places to apply. I’ve already applied at Dunhams Sports, McDonalds, Forever 21, Tim Hortons, a tanning salon, and some other stores at the local mall. Would it also be wise to create a resume? Thank you.
It’s hard to find a first job, and it’s even harder to find one without a resume. If you were trying to find a significant other, could you decide on whom to date based on the sole fact that they want to date you? Of course not! You want information, especially that which can answer the question, “Why you?”.
That is what employers are looking for. You need a resume, and you need one every time that you apply. A tip of advice, maybe you should also apply to smaller places. Smaller places = fewer applicants (generally speaking).
You need to at least get hired somewhere so that you can later list that under your experiences.
